What it involves
If your EICR has come back unsatisfactory, you will have a list of coded faults — C1 (danger present), C2 (potentially dangerous) or FI (further investigation) — that need putting right before the report can pass. We carry out the remedial work to clear those codes: replacing or upgrading the consumer unit, sorting bonding and earthing, fixing damaged or undersized cabling, correcting bad connections, and anything else the report has flagged. Once the work is done we can re-test and issue a satisfactory EICR or the relevant certificate.
Why it matters
For landlords this is urgent — you cannot legally let a property on an unsatisfactory EICR, and you are usually working to a deadline. For homeowners, unresolved C1 and C2 faults are genuine safety risks. We work from your existing report, give you a clear fixed price to clear the faults, and handle the lot so you are not chasing different trades. You do not have to have had the original inspection done by us — send us the report and we will quote from it.
